Leadership

Troy Lautenbach
President
As founder and President of Lautenbach Recycling, Troy has taken a simple idea he had as a 24-year-old college student, and over the years grown LBR into an extremely successful and highly respected regional recycling company. Today, Troy continues as a strong leader and spokesperson within the solid waste industry; he currently serves as Chair of the Washington State Solid Waste Advisory committee and sits on 2 local solid waste advisory committees. He has also served as President of the National Construction Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), and on the Board of the Washington State Recycling Association.

Torrey Lautenbach
Vice President
As a partner with his brother Troy since 1999, Torrey focuses on the financial and operational side of the company. He’s been involved in the recycling industry for more than 30 years; his passion for the environment and a depth of waste stream knowledge are both key to Lautenbach’s continued success. Beyond his day-to-day operations responsibilities, Torrey lends a hand throughout the company, offering his knowledge and wisdom as an employee mentor.

Jason has spent much of his life in the Skagit Valley and has been at Lautenbach Recycling since 2012. He started first as a driver, and through his hard work and commitment has risen to the role of Driver Manager & Trainer. When asked what he enjoys most about his position, he says: “I’ve been fortunate to build great relationships with the crew and management and to learn more about the entire recycling and waste industry. I never have a boring day; my job often challenges me in new ways, and I really enjoy that.”
