Happy November! We’re embracing our favorite holiday traditions: eating Christmas cookies, shopping locally and creating our own crafty gifts and treats, and best of all celebrating the season with our loved ones. As we look back on the joys and challenges of 2023, we are grateful for your business and for our relationships that strengthen and sustain us every day of the year.

Spotlight on Demolition

Luke Heeringa has been a pillar of Lautenbach’s operations since 2000 – he was a kid himself when he started! His favorite part of working in Demolition is that no two days are alike – there’s always something new to see and learn. A little-known fact from Luke: demolition does not simply destroy buildings. Rather than taking down an entire house, Operator Greg Egger can preserve a single wall or foundation to simplify your remodel project. Greg has been with Lautenbach since 2009, and the words most associated with him are “surgical precision!”
First, we schedule a complimentary assessment of your project and provide advice on how to proceed. Then we create a comprehensive plan and detailed bid based on the materials in your project (including working with our asbestos partners if necessary). We protect our communities with environmentally sound demolition.

Once we have a plan, we get to work and update you every step of the way. You’ll keep demolition waste out of the landfill, and we’ll turn as much of it as we can into reusable products. It’s all about protecting the environment by finding innovative and sustainable waste solutions.
We can handle everything from a carefully deconstructed historic building to clearing land for development. Before we begin, we examine the project from top to bottom, and guide you in obtaining the necessary permits. Once we’ve completed demolition, we clean the site to your specifications.

Give us a call and we’ll visit your site, review your needs, and prepare an estimate for your project. You, the neighborhood, and your community win when your demolition project protects the environment.

Holiday Recycling

Minimizing waste is always important – especially as we gather and celebrate the season!

Remember:

  • Skagit Soils recycles Christmas Trees for free!
  • Use cloth, craft paper, newspaper, old calendar pages, or glass jars to wrap your gifts
  • Reuse and/or donate bows, ribbons, decorations, artificial trees, toys, and gift bags
  • Recycle plain boxes, catalogs, plain cards, and gift wrap!
